Yesterday we sat and watched a wood pigeon couple copulate on the roof, followed by a ten minute loving kissing and preening, - they were so adorable. I didn’t have anything to record it with, but here is something similar. So lovely.

How sweet, these besotted birdies! They are beautiful little creatures. We have some mourning doves that return each year to mate in the transom window of our bedroom. They have the audacity of staring at us like WE are the spectacle!

I love this so much! I think I enjoy watching people dance VS. actually dancing....

That is so uplifting - you can't help but smile just watching it - their joy is so evident. I might try it later(adapted low impact version) - might have to feed Mr. Moonchime some alcohol before he'll make some of those moves. 
Pigeons are lovely aren't they? I just love them - we had a couple of resident ones that we watch; sometimes there's just no way she's in the mood. Unfortunately they're not the greatest/quickest at getting out of the way of cars - bodies too heavy for quick take-off. 
Maybe it's time for me to watch the dance video again.
