OMG I have woken up and gone to heaven !
:72:
What a treasure trove of delight!
I had to go and lie down after my first glance at the thread - it was just all too much for me.

I don't know where to start - the giphs all make me smile but the creations by Suami are just incredible and I adore that little goat - his soul just shines out.
Then there's these delicate white mice that almost don't seem knitted at all they are so fine with amazing attention to detail - like the feet turning in or lashes on the eyes. Obviously the type of wool you use makes a great difference - it looks like some of the mice are made from angora. :x

-Yeah! We were all hoping you'd be pleased! I agree, those mice are special.

As for the snake eating the mouse Dee - I have to say that darkened my mood like a sudden clap of thunder.
I think there should be another frame with the mouse coming out of the other end - it's the only decent way to finish the story; the mouse will of course be all right; the way people are when they've been swallowed by wolves in fairy stories. :72:

-A grand suggestion :57: :72:

Whilst paying attention to Dee teaching songs in a church hall I found myself staring at a poster entitled "Knitted Bible" - apparently knitted bible figures are used to tell bible stories and one of our number attended this event and said it was most enjoyable. Knitted cribs are quite common I suppose, so it makes sense to use figures in this way - although I do wonder whether it would work for the story of Salome and John the Baptist! :o

-I'm no biblical scholar, but I think there's a severed head in that tale, right? If I could only knit! It would be like something out of a Monty Python sketch...LOL!

I just find this so endearing!

Is that a shriek of appreciation, Lori, or worried about sock monkeys invading?
