She seems to make quite a lot of her sculptures from both wood and bronze. It's interesting how different they look just because of their different media.

Great to see some more of the wonderful Malgorazta - they are very different aren't they? Although I think she imbues great dignity into both materials. Whenever I look at her work I find myself sitting up straighter - don't think it's enough though.
What about those figures lounging about at the edge of the roof? How cool is that?

It's fab, isn't it? Though I think the figure in the middle is a little bit of an odd centre piece.

I know what you mean about "sitting up straighter"... all her figures have amazing posture. Poise even.

yeah I agree about the figure in the middle - the way she's holding her arms is rather odd I think - a bit similar to me at the moment and that ain't right. But the others make up for the little crazy one.

I agree - but the closer I look at the first one in the middle the more I think - no - she looks like she's peeing but in a rather stylised manner. Not what i'd want on the roof - give me the loungers any day.

Peeing? From the top of the roof? Now that's just really naughty, and not very ladylike!

I thought she was dancing before. And a bit of carefree naked dancing on the rooftop sounds like a wonderful idea, but this particular move is rather unusual even within that framework. Hm. Of course now that you've mentioned peeing, I can't see it in any other way!
