I stand in profound awe of Małgorzata. The emotions she elicits are immediate. Beauty, simplicity, joy, complexity...curiousity - perhaps most any reaction from the visual (and most likely the tactile if given the opportunity) a human being can experience. Solidly missing in all of the above is negativity. I love and respect being moved by depiction of struggle, but I appreciate being served something so uplifting. She treats the human condition with gentle gloves and an air of celebration of form and spirit. I've enjoyed her work for some time now and I smile every single time I see it. Water is used in such a classic visual way. She loves her subjects. Stunning work.

That's the heart of it, isn't it? The figures are all depicted at such ease with themselves. Full acceptance. Love. Embracing themselves not just physically but fully. It is very uplifting to see such thing is possible. The silencing of any doubts. Such serenity, such confidence and equilibrium.

I think her work is stunning and am so pleased you have brought it to my notice. I agree that it is strikingly positive and confident. For me her use of water takes her sculptures to another level, as they're constantly being re-created using water as the animator; they are never static but always in transition. She relinquishes final control of the work to a force of nature and imbues it with a new dimension.

I'm so glad you have connected with these water sculptures, Mz M, and I like what you've written about the artist relinquishing final control of her work, as there are no two moments in time when these figures would look exactly the same, once the water feature is enabled.
I also love how these sculptures are about the subjects' total absorption in their interaction with flowing water. It's like they are depicted in that meditative state when the mind is completely free from thought and devoted to nothing else but the beauty of the water in motion and the feel of it on the skin. And through that comes across this feeling of true contentment and child-like wonder. We must look out for an opportunity to see these in life!
