This small carving of a water bird was apparently created 33,000 years ago. Sculpted in mammoth ivory, it was found in the Hohle Fels cave in Germany in 2002 and it’s the earliest known representation of a bird.
I've always been fascinated by prehistoric art, haven't you? Wouldn't it be nice to start a topic for it?

Within the 60 acres of traditionally managed woodland at Heligan, Cornwall, UK, there are many intriguing sights to be seen: The Giant’s Head, Mud Maid and Grey Lady, wait to be discovered along Woodland Walk. This sheltered path comes to life as these woodland sculptures reveal themselves, emerging silently from the beautiful natural landscape.

The Dwarves in Wroclaw
"Mostly bronze, often cheeky, and each about a foot tall, there are 163 of them dotted about the city in various guises (this is the official figure, though some sources claim there are as many as 350).
It may sound like a contrived tourist gimmick that besieges a small Polish city with miniature cartoonish characters, but it only takes a few hours stroll around the Old Town and a couple of chance meetings with the fellows to convince otherwise. They are charming, remarkably imaginative and each represents a part of the city's daily life or history."
