I think James Brunt may be my man of the moment!!!! All of his pieces are so striking but the one above has to be my favourite, no, changed my mind, one of my favourites because it is such fun and brings together so many elements. I love the way the stones on the outside look just like people observing the work. :-D :-D

This is my other favourite because of the way he has incorporated the large rocks around so that they look as if they arereal creatures from the sea eating into the pattern. For me it is more exciting than even some of his wonderful complex patters, because it almost seems alive and I have to look again and again to interpret what is happening. It makes me think. :57:

Oh this is so much fun. Because I did have a little interpretation for this piece but it's the exact opposite of yours! :57:

I didn't think the big rocks were eating into the pattern, though I like it! I thought of it more from the point of view of the creator and the creation. Like:
"I've decided I'm gonna exist in this space. I will ripple and spread out, right here. Don't care what's in my way. I ripple, therefore I am. You big rocks around me, can just go and screw yourselves." :57:
