Banshee
Oh, wow, thank you for the research into Ukiyo-e; it's not what I expected as I was reading the description. And I see we already have a Japanese art topic started :72: But can we pause for a moment & just absorb all these glorious additions?! These latest sculptures are so delicate & beautiful!! I find them more accessible, for some reason. So much movement in the hair, and the gowns. The mermaids are really special.

I really like her mermaids; so suited to her intricate style; so waif-like.
One of my favourites has to be "Banshee" because it has such strength of movement yet is so incredibly delicate.
Her use of mixed media is quite stunning.

Good idea NR to try and pause and take it all in.

The light behind that fish tail is fantastic.
:-D
