I swear I 've tried similar things that have turned out quite differently!!! :?

Obviously it's all in the right consistency of the sand - I will be trying it the very next time I am on a beach - wish I'd known about it before I went to the coast last week.

I've sometimes seen simple snow art on the mountains and never been able to trace how the creators walked to their creative space with no apparent footprints and yet make their patterns - at least in the BBC article you find out how to make perfect circles!!!

So beautiful! Must be so tricky working in the snow, - once you’ve made a mistake I guess you must just incorporate it somehow?
