I like his style, as you say, he keeps it real. The whole spectrum of life is captured. The earlier photo of the child in glasses with the dolly carriage--- quite the contrast to the smokestacks in the background. I wonder what happened to the little girl clutching her arm? I imagine that boy pinched her. Poor little one. It's wonderful to see kids just playing; what a worthy subject. So much of what we see now is the top of kids' heads as they stare at their phones. Love the beach photo and the two old gals by the car!

That's what I love most about his pictures too, the kids playing out in the streets, creating their own imaginary world. Tears and laughter, resolving it all by themselves. It brings back wonderful bittersweet memories of doing the same. I think our children have had much much less of that. Their outdoors play happened in gardens rather than in the streets, and mostly in sight of grownups, not like how we did it, in complete freedom from busy body supervising adults.

I really like all the photos - they're so full of nostalgia and as has been noted, some pain. That little girl with the pram - such a serious face!
The one on the beach is joyous and you know I love the handstand one - won't be trying that for while - even with a good bra!
