An interesting find indeed Dee.

I do find his use of colour, line and shape fascinating. He has a real feel for sweeping shape and inticate pattern whilst at the same time being strongly connected with nature; his repeated layers remind me of the textures of wood grain and rock but he uses them as part of flesh or as the structure of the heart - which he depicts in his anatomical form.

I particularly like the juxtaposition of animal and human; indeed his birds brought to mind the photographs of Zipporah. I love cielo cielo - such a sense of strength and freedom. :x
