Silly vid, the lyrics are typical Laura.

Wonderful song and video :-D
Opened up his little heart
Unlocked the lock that kept it dark
And read a written warning
Saying I'm still mourning
Over ghosts
Over ghosts
Over ghosts
Over ghosts that broke my heart before I met you

I think I like her...

She's a little gem, isn't she? Have you had a chance to listen to the songs on the previous page, NR? Such a talented young woman with a fascinating mind. Awesome lyrics.

This thread needs serious updating! There are so many wonderful songs to be added.

For now here’s a brand new one from Laura’s latest album, I’m in love with this song.

I saw her perform it just a few days ago in a wonderful gig in Cambridge. She just wowed the audience, and now I just love her musicianship, her musical and lyrical world even more.

She opened with these four songs all rolled into one - the opening section of her album Once I Was An Eagle - absolutely mesmerising.

This is so beautiful, Mz A. Absolutely haunting. I'm drawn in as if she's cast a spell upon me. Wish I'd been at the concert. :x

Very beautiful and subtle. I think she is most effective live performing - like a lot of singer/songwriters who do music in the folk genre - in a setting every nuance is given the breadth of the in-the-moment. Wonderful lyricist. She is a talent!
